The DBC 2012 is shaping up nicely as the first four months have been contracted and are now in various stages of production. Featured titles are listed below: January
The Underdwelling by Tim Curran Tim Curran has been nominated for the Delirium Readers' Choice Award in 2011 for his novella Fear Me. With The Underdwelling, he delivers another amazing story. Allan Leverone was introduced to Delirium readers in 2011 with Darkness Falls which instantly won him many new readers. February
The Men Upstairs by Tim Waggoner I last worked with Tim Waggoner on the Delirium X-Series release of Broken Shadows and have really enjoyed his work over the years, so this is really exciting to get him into the book club with his new novella. Jeffrey Thomas and I have worked together since the first years of Delirium; he never ceases to amaze me with his imagination and original tales. He contributed to the 2011 book club with Beyond The Door. March
Lords Of Twilight by Greg F. Gifune To say that Greg F. Gifune is a Delirium fan-favorite is quite the understatement. His first novella in the book club, Dreams The Ragman, was voted Readers Choice Winner for quarter #2 of 2011. Lords of Twilight will be his first of two new novellas to be published by Delirium in 2012. His second novella, The Rain Dancers, has been contracted as well and will be one of the featured titles in the book club for October. This will be Kealan Patrick Burke's first original work for Delirium which is exciting. April
Down Here In The Dark by Lee Thompson I've said it many times and believe it more every day: Lee Thompson is the next big name not only at Delirium, but in the genre. His 2011 contribution to the book club was the well-received Iron Butterflies Rust. Altar 13 has just released JG Faherty's Carnival Of Fear which led to the invitation to submit to Delirium's novella series. JG has impressed with me as he is definitely a solid, new talent in the genre.
