It's that time of the year and it's about to get exciting. DarkFuse has issued ballots for the first quarter of the annual readers' choice award. This year we have added 25% more subscribers to our book club and they don't have an easy decision when voting on the first ballot.

The first two titles in the 2012 Delirium Book Club are now up on the site. The eBooks have been released to the digital club and the hardcovers are in production at the bindery. This is a great leadoff to what promises to be an extremely entertaining year for novella length fiction fans at Delirium.
This past weekend, I decided to add film production via book trailers onto the list of things I've accomplished at this job. As for being hands-on, you'll be hard-pressed to find someone who runs a company that is so involved in every aspect. While there's still quite a few publishers in this business who's skills end at being a walking debit card, I'm proud to say that I've done it all. After twelve years, I still insist at handling and shipping the books myself, am still active in laying out and designing the books and copy editing. Still read the slush pile, code the digital eBooks and design and innovate the company website. The only thing I haven't tried is video production...till this weekend.
